Preparing French Toast with 6th Grade

On Wednesday, the students in 6th grade prepared a typical American recipe for ¨french toast.¨ It is similar to the ¨torrijas¨ recipe from Spain. We practiced ingredients, numbers, measurements, and cooking verbs in English!

The final result was delicious! All of the students contributed to make the recipe, and we enjoyed the french toast with maple syrup, blueberries, and blackberries. 

We had a great time celebrating the end of the course!

O mércores, os alumnos de sexto prepararon unha receta típica dos Estados Unidos que se chama ¨french toast.¨ É moi similar ás nosas ¨torrijas.¨ Practicamos os nomes dos ingredientes, os números, as medidas, e os verbos que usamos para cociñar en inglés!

O resultado final foi delicioso! Tódolos nenos e nenas contribuiron para preparar a receta, e gustounos moito o ¨french toast¨ con xarope de arce, arandos, e amoras.
